The Inspiration Behind the Brew

Inspired by SnowBrains CEO and Founder Miles Clark’s love for the IPAs from the beer capital of the world, Bariloche, Argentina, the SnowBrains Session IPA is a smooth and well-balanced beer with a slightly lower alcohol content. Miles spent thirteen summers skiing in Bariloche, a town renowned for its world-class skiing and over 50 breweries, allowing him to develop a deep appreciation for the region’s exceptional IPAs.

The Brewing Process: A Delicate Craft

The brewing process for the SnowBrains Session IPA was a meticulous and carefully executed endeavor. After cracking and adding 650 pounds of barley to the first tank, hot water was introduced and the seed material was filtered out. In the second tank, the hot barley water was boiled, sterilized, and infused with hops, imparting the beer with its distinctive flavor. A heat exchanger then cooled the “wort” (the hot barley hop water) to 60ยฐF, preparing it for the fermentation stage. In the third tank, a brick of yeast was added, and the mixture was left to ferment for two weeks, allowing the yeast to work its magic (as the brewers like to joke, “Feed, Fuck, Fart!”). After the fermentation process, the yeast was removed and dry hops were added to enhance the beer’s hoppy aroma and flavor. Once the desired taste profile was achieved, the finished product was carefully poured into kegs, ready for distribution and consumption.
