Mammoth Mountain, CA will open for the season on Thursday, November 10th, 2016. The resort has received 11″ of snow this season at the base, but thanks to extensive snowfall at the summit andย temperatures that allowed forย snowmaking, the resort will be able to open relatively early. There are currentlyย 3 ski resorts open in North America and those include: Killington, Sunshine Village, and Arapahoe Basin, which means Mammoth will be the FIRST ski resort open in California this season.
