Daou Vineyards, one of Paso Robles’ notable wineries, celebrated their grand opening of a tasting room at Mammoth Mountain Ski Area, CA. The Daou Lounge, located inside the resort’s mid-mountain food court, will offer complimentary tastings of various wines, in addition to full pours and tasty Mediterranean appetizers.
Whether you have been on the slopes all day or you simply want to take the Panorama gondola up, guests can sit back with a glass in the scenic lounge. Making luxury wine accessible to skiers and riders, Daou Lounge will operate as a five-week pop-up at Mammoth Mountain. Owners of the prestigious vineyard, brothers Georges and Daniel Daou, share a love for the mountains and feel passionate about bringing their product to the ski resort.
Bringing a pop-up tasting room to Mammoth Mountain isn’t the only avenue Daou Winery is utilizing. In an effort to expand its commercial empire, the Daou brothers are putting their energy towards a future Daou Ocean project in Cambria, as well as renovating the century-old Bank of Italy building in downtown Paso Robles.
