What started as 32 ski resorts has been whittled down to 8, and SnowBrains followers are that much closer to selecting who will be crowned the winner of our inaugural SnowBrains March Madness tournament. Thank you to everyone who has participated and voted in the matchups so far.
The Sweet 16 saw continued domination from heavyweight opponents such as Jay Peak, Mammoth, and Palisades Tahoe. At the same time, there were the closest battles between resorts we have seen so far. Big Sky narrowly beat out ski icon Alta by only 4%.
Voters will have some tough choices when deciding which ski resort is better during the quarterfinals as battles for California and the Rockies commence. Votes can now be cast on SnowBrains’ Instagram & Facebook for the quarterfinals.
While some ski resorts’ paths may look more challenging than others, initial seeding was kept entirely random so as to not have any initial bias. A winner will be determined on April 7, during the final day of March Madness. Keep the votes rolling and and may the best ski resort prevail!
