And then there were two… One from the West, and one from the East.
After 30 matchups and over 75,000 votes cast across the past two weeks, SnowBrains followers have nailed down one ski resort to represent each side of North America.
Over the course of the inaugural SnowBrains March Madness tournament, there have been a number of twists and turns that have left us unsure of who may become the champion. None of these stressful moments came as close as the recent semifinals action, which saw East Coast heavyweights Killington and Jay Peak in a literal dead tie in our polls with only a few hours remaining. It was literally tied not just to the percentage point but to the exact vote. All of a sudden, Killington rallied its fans on socials to get them to turn out and vote, pushing them to finals with a victory now in reach.
Now, we have Jackson Hole, known to be one of the most extreme and rowdiest ski resorts on the continent, representing the West, who will square off against the appropriately nicknamed ‘Beast’ of the East. Who do you think has the edge here?
Votes can now be cast on SnowBrains’ Instagram & Facebook stories for the finals. Good luck to both ski resorts, and may the best resort prevail!
