Last week saw the launch of the SnowBrains March Madness Ski Resort Tournament where we asked our followers to vote on what they deem to be the best ski resort in North America. Over 30,000 votes were cast in the first round, and as of today, we move on to the Sweet 16.
Out of 32 of North America’s most well-known resorts, SnowBrains followers quickly narrowed the race down to 16, where the true competition really begins. The first round brought mostly sweeping blows but had some tighter races, including between East Coast icons Stowe and Mont Tremblant as well as Whiteface and Loon. The closest race of the first round came between Mt. Bachelor and Park City, which was the last matchup of the first round.

The initial seeding of the matchups was entirely random to keep it fair. A winner will be determined on April 7, during the final day of March Madness. Good luck to all ski resorts, and may the best resort prevail!
