March 2018 in Tahoe truly was a miracle – it came in like a lion, saving our lackluster season with big storms and massive snow totals.
Filmed in one day, this film shows different groups of winter athletes accessing the same terrain without conflict.
This is why everyone who follows or involved with Tahoe Backcountry Alliance or Winter Wildlands Alliance needs to send an email to the leadership and tell them to keep this zone open to sled access skiing and snowboards.
Tahoe Backcountry Alliance and its counterpart, recently and currently support a measure that would close the terrain and the access point at DLI / Negro Canyon.
If Tahoe Backcountry Alliance has its way, video’s like this will be no longer made in the Tahoe. TBA also supports closing the land around Donner Lake to Sled Access Riders. In total TBA supports closing about 10 zones so that only “human-powered” people can ride them.
