Kinda awesome to see a tech giant like Google feature a small, independentย ski manufacturer in their latest ad campaign. Moment Ski founders Casey Hakansson and Luke Jacobson began to use digital tools like Google analytics to sell their skis to customers all over the world, and now theyโre being featured in the search engineโs latest ad campaign for ‘Grow With Google’, an offering of online workshops designed to teach users skills in business and technology.
The ad touts Moment Skis, based in Reno, Nevada, as โthe biggest little ski brand,โ a claim supported by the fact that since their launch in 2005, the brand continues to produce their skis by hand, with the help of their 12 in-house employees, from their factory at the base of the Sierra Nevada range, including the skis Olympian David Wise used to secure halfpipe gold at the PyeongChang Olympics this year.
