Salida, CO โ€”ย After evaluating the snow conditions, Monarch Mountain has announced it is extending its ski season for an additional week. Monarchโ€™s closing day will now be Sunday, April 14, 2024

โ€œAs always, we want to give our guests the most time on the snow that we can possibly give.ย  The weather doesnโ€™t always cooperate with that ideal, but the recent snow and upcoming forecast help tremendously.ย  Itโ€™s as if Mother Nature has given us a gift.ย  Iโ€™ll take it.โ€ said Monarch Mountain GM and COO, Randy Stroud.

Monarch is currently offering their Wings Pass which allows new pass holders to ski the rest of the 23/24 season and all of the 24/25 ski season.

Monarch will be hosting its annual Gunbarrel Challenge on Sunday, April 14. Participants can put their skills to the test by boot packing up the famed Gunbarrel Run and skiing down in a race to the finish line. The winner gets the ultimate bragging rights and the Golden Boot award.

Wings Pass pricing: Adult – $659, Teen – $499, Junior – $379, Senior – $529.ย
