In two days it will officially be summer, Friday 21st June. The longest day of the year, and from then on itโs all downhill to snow and winter as the days shorten. But in some areas winter hasnโt even ended yet!
Powderchasers are calling for significant snow accumulation in the northern Rockies, Montana, and Alberta.
The National Weather Service is saying accumulations could begin as low as 6,500-feet.
With the potential for up to a foot of fresh pow, how about celebrating the onset of summer with a few backcountry fresh tracks?
