The National Weather and Climate Center is reporting that some areas of Northwestern Montana are currently sitting on a snowpack (snow water equivalent) of 6,600% of average for todayโs date right now.
That storm that came through Montana in the end of September dropped up to 52โณ of snow in spots (see image below).
The storm this week dropped up to another 12โณ of snow in Montana.
The snow is staying deep because itโs damn cold in Montana lately โ as cold as -8ยบF in West Yellowstone, MT on October 10th, 2019 (see image below).
