Not wanting to be left out, Mount Rose-Ski Tahoe in Nevada joined the summer snow party this weekend after sharing images of the dusting it received on social media.
The Tahoe resort joins Palisades Tahoe and Mammoth Mountain in California, which both shared snowy pics over the weekend.
Mount Shasta in Northern California received over 15″ of fresh summer snow on Friday into Saturday.
In Lassen Volcanic National Park, CA, SR 89 was closed due to 4″ snow.
24 hours later, webcams showed that the snow at all three resorts had melted away. But the first August snow in California in 20 years was enough to get us excited.
