MT. BACHELOR SNOW TOTALS:
TODAY’S MT BACHELOR MORNING REPORT:
Mother Nature finally came through for us!!!! A foot of dry, freshies was on the board this morning and with significant wind transport other areasย will be deeper. Maintenance crews are out on the hill assessing all of the frontside lifts and snow removalย has the parking lot cleared. The groomers are also out laying down some powdery corduroy so there will be plenty of groomed and un-groomed terrain to rip!! Off-piste still needs some work so expect early season conditions with bare spots, rocks and other marked & unmarked hazards. We strongly recommend skiing/riding only on groomed runs until the snow deepens.
In the base area, all services at West Village, including Gravity School lessons, rentals, Gravity Sports retail and food/beverages are and the Mt. Bachelor Shuttle will be operate on its regular winter schedule. The Skyliner parking is also now open for the season.
I heard Saturday was goggle-icing “Rimey”… I missed it due to transportation issues. I did make it up Sunday and it was glorious. Sunny. COLD. Soft. Got 15k’ vertical from three lifts, and met all the new waitstaff at The Clearing Rock bar. Looking forward to a great season!
