Multiple iF3 Award-Winning, Film of the Year, "Of A Lifetime" Comes to SLC's Brewvies Cinema Pub on Dec. 10

Salt Lake City, UT — December 1st 2024 — On Tuesday, December 10, local backcountry and adventure travel company Utah Adventures Unlimited presents the 2024 iF3’s multiple award winning film, “Of A Lifetime,” directed by Jerome Tanon and featuring snowboarders & skier Xavier De Le Rue, Victor De Le Rue and Mila De Le Rue, at Brewvies Cinema Pub located at 677 South 200 West in Salt Lake City, Utah 84010 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Jerome Tanon’s Of A Lifetime swept the iF3’s 2024 International Freesports Film Festival, winning best “Film of the Year, Best Cinematography, and Best Storytelling, along with Standout male snowboarder of the year for Victor De Le Rue.”

Utah Adventures Unlimited founder, Maxwell J. Morrill, spoke with Writer and Director Jerome Tanon to gain special advance access to premiere “Of A Lifetime” on the big screen for the Utah snow sports audience for one night only. “It is with great pleasure that we present this award winning, adrenalin filled film of the De Le Rue’s 5 week Antarctica adventure to the big screen for local Salt Lake City audiences, this is going to be a very special night for our local community.”

“The night will have a mini festival atmosphere featuring select local vendors, non-profits, trailers, short films, as well as a product giveaway, to bring the local winter sports community together,” Morrill says.

Film Synopsis

“Of a Lifetime” is a celebration of discovery, adventure, and the passing of the torch to the next generation against the breathtaking backdrop of Antarctica. It chronicles the renowned De Le Rue family’s journey as Xavier, Victor, and 18-year-old Mila sail together across the Drake Passage to ride the unimaginably steep icy lines of the white continent. Mila’sinitiation into big mountain free riding is captured through personal diaries, showcasing her growth as she faces her fears and embraces the challenge.
