New Zealand Ski Resorts OPEN Tomorrow:

3 New Zealand ski resorts open for business tomorrow.  Mount Hutt, Coronet Peak, and Cardrona are all scheduled to open for the season tomorrow, June 13th.

• Cardrona = 10cms (4″) snow past 24 hrs, base depth upper mt. of 60cms (24″).
• Mt. Hutt = 2cms (.8″) snow past 24 hrs,base depth upper mt. 25cms (10″).
• Coronet Peak = 15cms (6″) snow past 24 hrs, base depth upper mt. to 50cms (20″).

Treble Cone ski resort is scheduled to open on June 25th and they’ve already gotten 41″ of snow this season.

The Remarkables just got a foot of snow overnight and is scheduled to open on June 19th.

Mr. Ruapehu, Whakapapa, Turoa opens on June 27th.
