NOAA has issued a Winter Storm Warning for the northern Cascade mountains in Washington state including Mt. Baker ski area.

Snow levels are forecast to be in the 2,000-3,000 foot all week (see graphs below).

This Winter Storm Warning is calling for 10-36″ of snowfall in the Mt. Baker area.

Heavy snow expected. Plan on difficult travel conditions. Total snow accumulations 
of 10 to 20 inches, with local amounts up to three feet, are expected.

A Winter Storm Advisory has been issued for the central and southern Cascade mountains including Crystal Mountain ski resort.

This Winter Storm Advisory is calling for 6-24″ of snow in the Crystal Mountain area.

of 6 to 11 inches, with local amounts up to two feet, are expected.
