NOAA: Up to 6-12″ of Snow Forecast for California This Weekend

This weekend, however, may be VERY different…

"Snow could be rather impactful on Saturday as snow levels drop
below 7000 feet in the area of precipitation, perhaps as low as
6000 feet. This could lead to several inches of accumulation
above 7000 feet, 6-12 inches is not out of the question above 8000
feet in the Sierra. Those with travel and/or outdoor plans will
want to keep an eye on the forecast and consider alternate plans."
