The National Weather Service has issued a Special Weather Statement for The Sierra that’s calling for a Winter Storm next weekend.ย California could see high winds, heavy snow, and lowering snow levels throughout the weekend. It’s expected to be the first meaningful Winter Storm of the season.
“After a week of unseasonably warm temperatures, a large pattern shift is expected for next weekend. A moderate to strong Atmospheric River-type system will begin to impact the western United States late this week into the weekend,” stated NOAA Reno, NV on their Facebook page.
