The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Grand Targhee Resort and Jackson Hole Mountain Resort in Wyoming. It’s in effect until 5:00pm tonight. Significant snowfall and high winds are forecasted to impact the area.

Snow is forecasted to fall at all elevations as a strong cold front is expected to move in as this storm progresses.

...Snow returns to the northwest today and then to Central
Wyoming late tonight through Saturday night...

.A winter storm system will continue to impact northwest Wyoming
today. The winter storm will shift east and south tonight with snow
developing across central and south-central Wyoming late tonight,
and continue through Saturday night. Significant snowfall is
expected across portions of these areas the next couple days.

Teton and Gros Ventre Mountains-

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 PM MST THIS
AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Snow and blowing snow expected. Plan on slippery road
 conditions, including during the morning commute over Teton
 Pass. In addition, areas of poor visibility are expected.
 Total snow accumulations of 5 to 10 inches.

* WHERE...Teton and Gros Ventre Mountains.

* WHEN...Through 5 PM today.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Winds gusting as high as 40 mph will
 cause areas of blowing and drifting snow.
