NOAA is forecasting up to 3″ of snow for the Beartooth Pass area of Montana and Wyoming this weekend.
This is where our favorite summer only ski resort lives:ย Beartooth Basin.ย Hopefully snow will start sticking at Beartooth to get the summer 2016 snowpack started.
NOAA Wyoming:
“Widespread precipitation is expected today across the state. Showers will move northward across western portions this morning, as a Pacific storm system treks eastward. This activity will spread across the rest of the forecast area through the morning hours. Isolated embedded thunderstorms will also be possible by this afternoon. These rain showers will continue throughout Saturday, before subsiding and impacting western portions on Sunday. Snow levels will drop to around 9500 feet tonight, and around 8000 feet Saturday night.” – NOAA Wyoming
