“The first snowflakes of the season are falling on Mount Mansfield this afternoon. This webcam image was taken from near the top of Mount Mansfield, and the temperature profile taken from our mesonet shows that the freezing level is right at summit level. Periods of lower elevation rain showers and higher elevation snow showers will continue into the weekend, with 1 – 3″ expected on the mountain tops.” – NOAA, Burlington, VT
