NOAA has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Wyoming today and tomorrow. ย This advisory is calling for 6-9″ of snow.

* SNOWFALL AMOUNTS...6 TO 9 INCHES ABOVE 8000 FEET TONIGHT
  THROUGH THE DAY MONDAY. - NOAA Riverton, WY today

Snow levels are forecast to start at 9,500′ this morning before dropping to valley floors this evening.

LIGHT SNOW WILL OCCUR THROUGH THE DAY TODAY GENERALLY
  ABOVE 9000 FEET BEFORE SNOW LEVELS DECREASE AND SNOWFALL
  INCREASES LATER TONIGHT AND THROUGH THE DAY MONDAY TO MODERATE
  OR HEAVY AT TIMES. - NOAA Riverton, WY today

Grand Targhee and Jackson Hole ski resorts already got some snow yesterday and they will be seeing snow from this storm.

People were full on powder skiing Grand Targhee and Jackson Hole on October 5th, 2016 after 25″ of new snow.

...SNOW TO RETURN TO THE MOUNTAINS ALONG AND WEST OF THE DIVIDE
TODAY THROUGH MONDAY...

.A VIGOROUS UPPER LEVEL STORM SYSTEM WILL AFFECT MUCH OF THE AREA
ALONG AND WEST OF THE DIVIDE TODAY THROUGH MONDAY. SNOW LEVELS
WILL START OUT RATHER HIGH...GENERALLY ABOVE 9500 FEET EARLY THIS
MORNING...DROPPING TO THE VALLEY FLOORS BY THIS EVENING AND
THROUGH THE DAY MONDAY. HEAVIEST SNOWFALL EXPECTED LATER TONIGHT THROUGH
THE DAY MONDAY.

TETON AND GROS VENTRE MOUNTAINS-

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM THIS
EVENING TO 6 PM MDT MONDAY...

* TIMING...LIGHT SNOW WILL OCCUR THROUGH THE DAY TODAY GENERALLY
  ABOVE 9000 FEET BEFORE SNOW LEVELS DECREASE AND SNOWFALL
  INCREASES LATER TONIGHT AND THROUGH THE DAY MONDAY TO MODERATE
  OR HEAVY AT TIMES. SNOW WILL TAPER OFF BY MONDAY EVENING.

* SNOWFALL AMOUNTS...6 TO 9 INCHES ABOVE 8000 FEET TONIGHT
  THROUGH THE DAY MONDAY.

* WIND AND VISIBILITY...VARIABLE WIND 10 TO 25 MPH IN THE HIGHER
  ELEVATIONS WITH GUSTS 30 TO 40 MPH AT TIMES. VISIBILITY WILL
  BE REDUCED TO UNDER ONE HALF MILE AT TIMES IN SNOW AND BLOWING
  SNOW.

* OTHER IMPACTS...HUNTERS AND OTHER OUTDOOR ENTHUSIASTS SHOULD
  BE PREPARED FOR WET SNOW AND COLD TEMPERATURES. ROADS...
  INCLUDING TETON AND TOGWOTEE PASSES...WILL BECOME SNOW
  COVERED.
