NOAA: Winter Weather Advisory Issued For MT | Up To 10″ of Snow In The Mountains Today – Thursday Morning

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Montana. It’s in effect from 11:00am Today through 11:00am Thursday Morning. Cold temperatures are expected to accompany this storm, which should make for some epic powder skiing in the mountains.

Up To 10″ of Snow In The Mountains Today – Thursday Morning.

Snow is forecasted to fall at all elevations, as temperatures are expected to drop as this storm progresses.

  localized amounts up to 10 inches at ridgetops,
  are expected.

* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 2 to 4 inches,
  4 to 6 inches over Bozeman Pass, and localized amounts up to 10
  inches at ridgetops, are expected.

* WHERE...Madison, Jefferson, Broadwater and Gallatin.

* WHEN...From 11 AM this morning to 11 AM MST Thursday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Plan on slippery road conditions,
  including during the evening commute. Be prepared for reduced
  visibilities at times.
