The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Tahoe.
It’s in effect from 5:00pm Saturday evening – 10:00am Sunday morning.

High winds and persistent snowfall is expected to impact the area throughout that time.
Tahoe:
- 4-10″ Of Snow Saturday Night Above 7,000ft
- Ridge Winds Gusting 50 – 85 MPH
“Significant snowfall is expected over the Sierra Cascade range Saturday afternoon through early Monday. Up to 2 feet of new snow is expected to accumulate from this next in a series of late season storms.”

Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows, CA is open and in for some more snow.
More snow is expected to hit the Tahoe area early next week.
Accumulating snowfall is likely above 6,000ft.
The 6-10 day outlook calls for above average precipitation and below average temperatures in Tahoe.
