NOAA just released their temperature and precipitation outlook for the USA yesterday.
This outlook appear to continue a la nina pattern with above average precipitation forecast in the north and warmer temps in the south.
NOAA has declared that we are currently in a la nina year.

This January, NOAA is forecasting above average precipitation for the Pacific Northwest, Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming.
Theyโre forecasting below average precipitation in California, Arizona, and New Mexico.

Theyโre forecasting below average temperatures just about no where in ski country USA.ย ย
