NOAA just released their temperature and precipitation outlook for the USA yesterday.

This outlook appear to continue a la nina pattern with above average precipitation forecast in the north and warmer temps in the south.

NOAA has declared that we are currently in a la nina year.

JANUARY PRECIPITATION:

This January, NOAA is forecasting above average precipitation for the Pacific Northwest, Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming.

Theyโ€™re forecasting below average precipitation in California, Arizona, and New Mexico.

JANUARY TEMPERATURES:

This January,ย NOAA is forecasting above average temperatures for California, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Arizona, & New Mexico.

Theyโ€™re forecasting below average temperatures just about no where in ski country USA.ย ย 

WHERE TO SKI THIS JANUARY?

From this outlook, itโ€™s looking like the Pacific Northwest, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming will be the places to be.
