Registration for the Trollhaugen Rail Jam opened last Friday, September 20. The Rail Jam will be held on a small patch of snow harvested from last seasonโ€™s snowโ€”a practice known as snow farming. Trollhaugen has been snow farming for its annual RailJam for several years and has perfected its technique of covering last seasonโ€™s snow in hay and tarp and preserving it for the following season.
