Over the past 24 hours, Mother Nature dumped 17 inches of snow at Palisades Tahoe, California, bringing the storm total from Friday to 43 inches and the season snowfall total to 102 inches.
Sunday was a beautiful bluebird day, but the blue skies won’t last long, as another smaller storm system will roll in on Monday.

The resort has a 53-inch base, which is 126% of normal for this date.ย On Friday, it opened the Granite Chief chairlift, which offers access to steeps, trees, bowls, and rolling terrain for more advanced skiers.
Terrain expansion efforts will continue as soon as conditions allow, and teams are working diligently to prepare the mountain for expansion.
