Just in case you have not had enough of the stunning Aurora Borealis, or Northern Lights, that were visible last weekend across the world, here are some stunning images from Breckenridge Ski Resort in Colorado. For many people it was the first time they have seen the Northern Lights as the phenomenon can be limited to areas near the Arctic Circle, like Canada, Alaska, or Scandinavia. However, this year is a year with high solar flare activity, making for some spectacular aurora viewings. The US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) has forecast the solar maximum will peak in 2024, so enjoy the spectacle why it lasts!
