[Photos] First Snowfall Hits Mammoth Mountain, CA, as Resort Fires up Snow Guns in Anticipation for Nov. 11 Opening Day

Two-and-a-half weeks. After that, Mammoth Mountain will be open for the 22-23 winter season.

The California resort got its first dusting of snow this week, and now it’s firing up its snow guns for opening day, set for Nov. 11. 

With more snow on the forecast, opening day at Mammoth this year is sure to be a good one.
