[PHOTOS] Snow Totals as Storm Drops Over a Foot of Fresh Snow on Colorado Ski Resorts

The forecasted snowstorm hit Colorado over the weekend, dumping up to 19″ on many ski areas, giving snow makers a boost and allowing Arapahoe Basin to start lifts turning and kick off the season.

Arapahoe Basin opened with an 11″ powder day and has received 14″ from this storm.

Loveland and Keystone, who are usually battling with A-Basin for the first to open title, received 16″ and 15″, respectively.

Vail was the winner of this storm, receiving 19″.

The upcoming week looks dry, but there is snow in the forecast beginning next weekend. With temperatures staying relatively low all week, perfect for snowmaking, who will be next to open?
