Photos: Snowmaking Has Begun at Copper Mountain, CO

Temperatures in the high country finally cooled down allowing Copper Mountain, CO, to kick off its first day of snowmaking operations.

Copper Mountain is making preparations to host early-season race training starting on October 22. The US Alpine Ski Team is expected to arrive at Copper on November 1, to train for their upcoming World Cup Season and the 2022 Beijing Olympics.

Copper will open to the general public for the 2021/22 winter season on November 22.
