Report from December 15th, 2018

On Saturday we got up to Revelstoke Mountain Resort, BC a touch late and decided to take advantage of the Demo Day going on.

Erica loved the Salomon QST 106.

Then we hiked up the Sub-Peak – which hadn’t been open for a quite a few days.

No one had skied the fun-looking chute “Banana Hammock” on the edge of the boundary.

So we strolled out there and had a look.

It looked good.

It skied even better.

The snow was immaculate.

From the bottom of the run, we traversed out Gracias Ridge and found a lot more powder.

We saw Sammy Carlson and crew ski “Door 4” in the backcountry and it looked impressive.

After that, we skied chowder in the trees and packed powder on the runs and had a blast.

We skied until the closing bell and thoroughly enjoyed skiing down to the mid-station (which is nearly at the bottom of the mountain).

Excellent day.
