Salt Lake City, UT Breaks Daily Maximum Temperature Record

Last Sunday, June 13, Salt Lake City, Utah broke its warmest daily temperature record with a soaring temperature of 102 ºF. The previous record daily temperature was set in 1918.

Sunday was also the hottest day of the year in Salt Lake—so far. 

According to the NOAA, record-setting weather is underway across Utah with extremely high temperatures this week. Below are a few weather statistics for Salt Lake City that could be broken this week.
