Hello Snow Brains I want to ask a question ( advice) before I spend time and emotional hopefulness in apply for one of the 12 slots with Ski.com
I am from Washington State, am 54. Will be 55 Dec 29th and I will retire from a rippin career in Maintenance Engineering for Boeing.
Yup– I deployed the world, and brought maintenance data for aircraft air side to the mechanics on an iPad.
BUT— here is the deal—I am a huge skier, and honestly my husband and I are rabid ski junkies and we rip it. We both wear of packs,. probes and peeps and hit some pretty serious terrain.
Do you honestly thing there be any part of ski.com marketing ploy for one of the 12 sets or people to be me or us?
Have a great season
Amy
Amy – I know nothing about the qualifications they’re looking for but I’d say, go for it! It’s important to consider the demographic of skiers these days. When my husband and I retire (we are in the 35-40 age group bucket), we are hoping to follow the same path you’ve taken. Would love to hear your perspective if you are chosen, especially as a couple!
Be worth checking out the winning video on YouTube from last year’s contest for an idea of what they’re looking for…
