According to RGJ, Dennis Baltimore, a 35-year-old ski instructor, was killed over the weekend at Northstar Resort, CA after he hit rocks and crashed into a creek near the Village Run slope. When the accident occurred, Dennis and his colleagues were participating in a ski instructor certification class. He was skiing down a beginner slope at the resort when a snowboarded veered in front of him and cut him off. To avoid a collision, Dennis took a quick left and went off the run.

The Placer County Sheriffโs Office is awaitingย autopsy results to determine the cause of death, butย Jillian Torrez, Dennis’ girlfriend, said that heย died of spinal and head injuries.
