As NOAA promised yesterday, we got snow at Mammoth all the way down to the Main Lodge at the base. It looks wet and funky down there, but up at mid-mountain, it looks like a winter storm with wind, snow, and fog.
Mammoth is scheduled to open on November 11th. That’s only 15 days away… Can they pull it off? Temps aren’t quite going to be cold enough for snowmaking the rest of this week.
Up to 3″ of snow was forecast for the High Sierra with this storm and it’s forecast to peter out today.
