Snow Is Headed For The South & East Coast | Winter Weather Advisories Issued In AL, LA, MS, PA, NY

The National Weather Service has issued Winter Weather Advisories and Winter Storm Watches all throughout the South and East Coast. They are in effect from Today through early Friday Morning. Pennsylvania and New York could see a substantial amount of lake-effect snow.

Unseasonably warm temperatures are expected to impact the area, so snow is expected to fall at all elevations.

 localized amounts up to 12 inches, are possible.

*Additional snow accumulations of 6 to 11 inches 
 are expected in the most persistent lake snows.

Alabama: Up To 1″ of Snow This Morning – Friday Morning

* Total accumulations of up to 1 inch
  are possible.
- NOAA Mobile, AL

Louisiana: Up To 1″ of Snow This Morning – Friday Morning

* Total accumulations of a quarter to a half
  inch are expected, primarily on grassy and elevated surfaces,
  with locally higher accumulations up to 1 inch possible in the
  higher elevations of East Alabama.

Mississippi: Up To 1″ of Snow Tonight – Friday Morning
