After a record-breaking February, skiers and boarders at Snowbird Resort, Utah, probably aren’t thinking about spring skiing. Yet it’s just around the corner, as Snowbird announced in an Instagram post last week.

It might still feel like winter, but surfy spring days are right around the corner 🏄

As spring approaches, we’ll be catching waves for months to come with skiing and riding through at least Memorial Day, conditions permitting. We’re equally excited to break ground on two resort improvements that will benefit the mountain for decades to come: the Wilbere Chair upgrade as well as a complete update of Mid-Gad Restaurant. Both are scheduled to break ground as lower Gad Valley closes, April 15.”

Snowbird plans to stay open until Memorial Day weekend, conditions permitting. The Snowbird x Woodward Park collaboration has been put on hold while the mountain works on replacing the Wilbere Chair and updates to the Mid-Gad Restaurant, and the Woodward team plans to focus on their work at Woodward Park City.

Snowbird’s spring ticket pricing for the 2023-24 season features a change in rates starting from April 22, with another adjustment taking place on May 17. For adults aged 13 to 64, the day pass price begins at $155 and decreases to $130 starting May 17. Youth tickets, for ages 7 to 12, are initially priced at $93, reducing to $78 as of May 17. Senior tickets for those aged 65 and above start at $132 and drop to $111 on May 17. Importantly, tickets for kids aged 6 and under remain free of charge throughout this period, offering families an economical option for enjoying the slopes.
