With all the uncertainties around this coming ski season, let alone daily life, Snowbird, UT is making it easier to justify putting the money down towards a pass. Snowbird is providing a new level of protection with your pass purchase, against any unforeseen closures within the season due to COVID-19. This newly created option is called the “Passholder Promise” and is now offered with any Snowbird season pass at no charge. A huge detail is the ability to cancel for any reason before Dec 1st for a complete refund. Payment plan options are also available, making it more carefree than ever to buy a pass.
Qualifying pass holders from the 2019/2020 season will have a credit due, based on the abrupt end of the past season. If an extended closure due to COVID-19 extends beyond seven consecutive days or exceeds a minimum of 30 days within this season, there will be a credit awarded to the pass holder, good for future season pass purchases. This system is pro rata’d depending upon what date such a qualifying closure should occur within the season. 2020/2021 season dates will go from Dec 11th, 2020 – May 9th, 2021.
