Solo Skier Caught In Avalanche on Ridgeline at Park City Mountain Resort, UT

A solo skier triggered and was caught in an avalanche on the Park City Ridgeline within the boundaries of Park City Mountain Resort reports the Utah Avalanche Center. He was not buried and not injured.

Estimated dimensions are 2’ deep, 40’ wide, and 150’ in length.

Please share the message to stay out of ski areas that are getting ready to open. They are using explosives, doing grooming, and doing a lot of other work that could be dangerous to be around.
