The 2019 South American ski season got underway with a bang this weekend as the majority of resorts started their lifts turning and riders were treated to fresh powder.
The storm that passed through the Andes the previous week dumped multiple feet of fresh snow on most areas.
In Chile, Valle Nevado, opened with almost 2-feet, El Colorado had over 15″ and Nevados de Chillan had almost 2-feet.
In Argentina, Cerro Catedral opened with 6″, and Las Leñas with 17″.
