Siberia is a legendary chair and is rumored to be the first ever high speed quad in the USA.

Siberia gains access to the world famous Palisades and the Chimney at Squaw. ย Siberia also allows for access via the Reverse Traverse to Headwall when the Headwall chair isn’t running.

Siberia will now be Squaw Valley’s 6th high speed six-pack after Headwall, Big Blue, Gold Coast, and Shirley Lake.

This is certainly a good move by Squaw Valley as the Siberia chair has had many mechanical issues the past few years resulting in unexpected mid-day closures.

Which chair would you like to see replaced next? ย Red Dog? ย Granite Chief?

  1. I believe 4 + 1 = 5 as the total number of 6 packs at Squaw after the new Siberia lift is built.

  2. We wont need sibo next season for headwall access via rt. Maybe squaw will actually operate headwall instead of putting on constant money hold.

Imagine spillage under chimney after 50% more skiers per chair rut the heck out of the sades runout.

Im more interested in seeing base to base gondola towers sprayed all over wfaces and 75 chute, gonna b sooooo rad
    after they do that.

  3. Hot Wheels at Alpine first. Already approved – It’s too slow and doesn’t get you to the Sherwood side
    like the former chair.
