Squaw Alpine just announced today that they will be opening the two of the best chairlifts at Alpine Meadows tomorrow: Summit & Roundhouse.
“Good news, skiers and riders… Summit and Roundhouse have been added to the schedule for tomorrow! Head to Alpine Meadows for access to Wolverine Bowl and Alpine Bowl. Please note, Alpine Bowl to Dance Floor to East Runout will be the only groomed run down to the base.” – Squaw Alpine, today
No one has yet skied Summit nor Roundhouse this season save for ski patrol.
Up to this point, Alpine has only had the Kangaroo chairlift open that exclusively offers beginner terrain.
Alpine just got 7″ of snow on Sunday night and temps have been cold enough to preserve most of that snow up top.
Tomorrow will be a powder day at Alpine Meadows.
