Crystal Mountain Conditions Report | Corn, Chalk and Chowda Though the northwest is still hungry for more snow, the spring-like conditions at Crystal are surprisingly rad! Near the top of the resort, north-facing slopes still have some protected, chalky snow, allowing for smeary, fast turns. Once the sun heats up the steeper south-facing runs, the slush is easy to mash through and there are plenty of shrubs and rocks to jump over if thatโs your thing. As always, the groomers are speedy and consistent with plenty of small rollers to pop off. Rachel Delacour | March 8, 2015 0 Comments
15-Seconds of Andrew Whiteford Crushing Switzerland Andrew Whiteford has been sending it in Jackson Hole, Wyoming for a while now. Long enough to be considered a local badass and be on the Jackson Hole Freeride Team. No small feat. Two winters ago he actually left Jackson and hit up Switzerland during a banner year over there. Not shockingly, he fit right in over there and put up for the cameras of Meathead Films. These are the kind of videos we love and hate. They leave us stoked and unsatisfied. We suppose itโs better to be left wanting more than to have had too much. […] SnowBrains | August 19, 2013 2 Comments
