Squaw Valley received 54″ of snow in the past 48 hours on the upper mountain and 61″ of snow in the past 7 days on the upper mountain. Yet, they only received 7″ of snow snow on the lower mountain in the past 48 hours. The R-word was around… Squaw had to close yesterday due to high avalanche danger.
