Mayor Tells Bostonians to Stop Jumping from Windows After four huge storms have slammed Boston with 8 feet of snow, the city’s residents are starting to get a little stir-crazy. A new social media challenge has spread: the #BostonBlizzardChallenge has “daredevils” leaping from windows into the enormous snow piles below. Major Winter Storm “Juno” Heading for the Northeast Winter storm Juno is about to hit the Northeast, and it’s expected to slam coastal cities like NYC, Boston, and Philadelphia with up to (and possibly over) two feet of heavy snow. Blizzard conditions are expected in 7 states. The National Weather Service is describing the upcoming storm as “life-threatening” and “historic”, with the peak impact expected to hit Monday night into Tuesday.
