New England’s Cold Snowy Winter Has Produced Icebergs It’s been so cold and snowy in New England this year that icebergs are washing up on Cape Cod, MA. WBZ meteorologist is calling it a “once-in-a-generation” event. These aren’t real icebergs, of course. These “icebergs” are made of snow and ice, not of glacier ice.
