VIDEO: Big Powder Day at CLOSED Mt. Baker, WA on Tuesday

Mt. Baker ski resort closed last week due to a lack of snow. Then, the area got a snowstorm that wasn’t quite enough to get the ski resort open again, but enough to stoke out a few hard charging locals. The boys from the Glacier Ski Shop got up to very near the Mt. Baker ski resort on March 16th, 2015 and had a helluva day. Blue skies, perfect, stable snow, and fun terrain. Mt. Baker Conditions Report Video: 21” New Snow Yesterday

This video was filmed at Heather Meadows in and around Mt. Baker ski resort yesterday, December 2nd, 2013. Mt. Baker just got 11” of new at the base and 21” up top. The snowpack at the base of Baker is already 40” deep… It’s certainly deep in spots. Baker has already had a few solid powder days this season. Mt. Baker, WA Conditions Report Video: 30” of Pow Yesterday

The crew from the Glacier Ski Shop on the Mt. Baker Highway got up high yesterday, November 6th, and got into some solid cascade conditions: 30” of new snow, decent coverage, and no one else around but them.
