Blackcomb Mountain opened up this last Thursday! After a bit of rain and some new snow up high, it was good to get out on the hill. The mountain was not that crowded as both Whistler and Blackcomb were now open. Most areas on the hill are still closed due to low snow. However, you were definitely able to get off the main runs if you were feeling a little adventurous, and willing to avoid some rocks and sticks poking around.
