Bariloche, Argentina Conditions Report: Bluebird Powder Day First of all, I wanna give big props for Catedral ski resort opening the Nubes chair today. Itโs been closed for about a week (essentially for the season) due to the trails accessing it having completely burned out. There was simply no snow left on the trails accessing the base of the Nubes chair. The recent storm dropped enough snow for the trails to be covered and groomed once more. Bariloche, Argentina Conditions Report: Backcountry Bliss Catedral ski resort in Bariloche, Argentina just got a 2-foot storm. Yesterday, the snow was light and fluffy in La Laguna and just about everywhere on the mountain. As always happens in the Andes, the wind blew last night and pressed the snow pretty good in most spots. Upper and Lower La Laguna held up to the wind well and stayed relatively light and fluffy. Bariloche, Argentina Conditions Report: Cliff-Hucking Good Catedral ski resort in Bariloche, Argentina was closed yesterday due to high winds and a wet storm. Snow levels were high. It likely rained to the top yesterday. As the storm was ending, it got cold and dropped some good snow. This morning was bluebird. I ran straight up Nubes and found ok snow. Deep Powder in Bariloche, Argentina Today | Photo Tour (itโs been pow here everyday the mountain has been open since August 4th, 2013…) Last night, it snowed about 8 inches at the bottom of Catedral ski resort in Bariloche, Argentina. Even Bariloche the town got a couple inches of snow overnight. We donโt get snow at the bottom of the hill very often and 8โ of it down there is a lot.
